Classes at Mudhouse Pottery Studio are 8 week long sessions that meet once per week for 3 hours. During the 8 weeks you will learn wedging, centering and throwing small forms on the pottery wheel. You will also learn hand building techniques, glazing techniques, and basic surface decoration. No prior experience is needed, though those with experience are welcome as well!

• 25lbs of clay

All students must bring their own 8-piece pottery tool kit (including a needle tool, small sponge, metal rib, wood rib, wood knife, small loop trimmer, large loop trimmer, and wire tool). This kit can be purchased for an additional fee from Mudhouse when enrolling, or you may opt to buy tools elsewhere. Basic tool kits are readily available online or at local ceramic supply stores.

Terms and Conditions

• If you know you will miss the first class of the session, it is recommended to sign up for a different session. Many fundamentals are taught on the first day that are used throughout the rest of the session.

• We offer make up classes when available, but make up days are not guaranteed. No refunds can be given for classes that are missed.

• If you cancel your registration more than 2 weeks before the start of class you will receive a refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations made 2 weeks or less before class starts. No refunds will be given for missed class days. All refunds are subject to a 15% fee.

• You must be 18 or older to book a 8 week class.
